The Journal of Pediatrics in Resource-Limited Settings is an international, online-only, open access journal that publishes continuously in one annual volume. It publishes rigorous work in clinical pediatrics, child health, and pediatric medical education and training, particularly where these relate to resource-limited, underserved, or inequity-affected contexts. The journal thus aims at advancing context-relevant evidence for clinical care, service delivery, workforce development, and child health policy. The journal serves clinicians, researchers, educators, trainees, and others working to improve child health in resource-limited settings.

The Journal of Pediatrics in Resource-Limited Settings is an open access journal that doesn’t charge readers any fees to read. All scholarly content is freely available immediately upon publication, without subscription, embargo, or registration, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

The Journal of Pediatrics in Resource-Limited Settings is an independently owned scholarly journal founded by Mohammed A. Alhassan, MD, with the support of a group of clinician-researchers concerned with pediatric practice and research capacity building in resource-limited settings. The journal is published under the publisher name Journal of Pediatrics in Resource-Limited Settings.

The journal is currently financially supported by its owner, with in-kind editorial/advisory support from the Editorial Board. It does not presently receive institutional, society, or commercial sponsorship.
